Clause 28
Transfer of Government employees
(1)
Upon the commencement of this Part, such persons as were employed by the Government immediately before the commencement of this Part shall for the purpose of carrying out —
the functions and services performed by the Broadcasting Division of the Ministry of Culture; and
the functions of the Radio and Television Licensing Division of the Inland Revenue Department,be transferred to the service of the Corporation on terms not less favourable than those they enjoyed immediately prior to their transfer, and such terms (which shall be determined by the Corporation) shall take into account the salaries and conditions of service, including any accrued rights to leave enjoyed by them while in the employment of the Government.

Until such time as terms and conditions of service are drawn up by the Corporation, every person who has been transferred to the service of the Corporation under subsection (1) shall serve the Corporation under the terms and conditions of service which were applicable to him immediately prior to the commencement of this Part.
(3)
Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (1), such categories of persons who are transferred to the service of the Corporation, as the Minister may determine, shall as soon as practicable be given the option of remaining in the service of the Government.
