Clause 3

Establishment of the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation

There is hereby established in accordance with the provisions of this Act a body to be called the “Singapore Broadcasting Corporation” which shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and with power —

(a)

to sue and be sued in its corporate name;

(b)

to acquire and dispose of property, both movable and immovable;

(c)

to perform such other acts as bodies corporate may by law perform; and

(d)

to exercise such other powers as are conferred under or by virtue of this Act.
