Clause 20

by deleting the words “six months” in the first line of subsection (1) thereof and substituting therefor the words “one year”;

by deleting the word “delivery” in the second line of subsection (2) thereof and substituting therefor the word “payment”; and

by inserting, immediately after subsection (2) thereof, the following subsection: —“(3) Section 120 of this Act and this section, as amended by the Legal Profession (Amendment) Act, 1979, shall apply to any bill of costs delivered before the commencement of that Act as it applies to any such bill delivered after the commencement of that Act.”.
