Clause 8

Security

(1)

The Licensing Officer may, before granting a licence, require the applicant to give such security as may be prescribed.

(2)

Any sum deposited under this section may be forfeited in whole or in part at the discretion of the Licensing Officer on the revocation or suspension of the licence.

(3)

Any person aggrieved by a forfeiture under this section may —

(a)

require the Licensing Officer to furnish him within fourteen days the reason for the forfeiture; and

(b)

within fourteen days of the furnishing to him of the reasons for the forfeiture, appeal in writing to the Minister whose decision shall be final.
