Clause 12

Section 48 of the principal Act is amended by renumbering the section as subsection (1) of that section, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following subsection:“(2) Any moneys received by a trade union from its members for a specific purpose shall not be used or applied for any other purpose without the consent, by secret ballot, of the majority of its members and every such consent shall be notified to the Registrar by the secretary within seven days thereof.”.
