Clause 21

Section 67 of the Companies Act is amended by inserting, immediately after the word “business” at the end of paragraph (a) of subsection (2), the words “if the activities of that company are regulated by any written law relating to banking, finance companies or insurance or are subject to supervision by the Monetary Authority of Singapore”.
