Amendment of section 218
Section 218 of the Companies Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the word “or” at the end of paragraph (k) of subsection (1); and
(b)
by deleting the full-stop at the end of paragraph (l) of subsection (1) and substituting the word “; or”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:“(m)the company is being used for an unlawful purpose or for purposes prejudicial to public peace, welfare or good order in Singapore or against national security or interest.”.
