Miscellaneous amendments — penalties
The Employment Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “five hundred dollars” wherever they appear in the following sections and substituting in each case “$1,000”:Sections 53(1), 87, 109(1), 116, 117, 119, 122 and 149(2)(l); and
(b)
by deleting the words “one thousand dollars” wherever they appear in the following sections and substituting in each case “$2,000”:Sections 53(1), 122 and 149(2)(l).
