Clause 40

Power of arrest

(1)

A police officer may without warrant arrest a person within the Authority’s aerodrome —

(a)

if he has reasonable cause to believe that that person has contravened any provisions of this Act or any regulations made thereunder and he does not know or cannot ascertain that person’s name and address; or

(b)

if that person, in contravention of this Act or any regulations made thereunder, fails or refuses to leave the aerodrome or any particular part thereof after being requested by such an officer to do so.
