Clause 4

Section 4 of the Betting Act is amended by deleting the words “to a fine not exceeding ten thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term which may extend to twelve months or to both such fine and imprisonment” and substituting the words “to a fine of not less than $10,000 and not more than $100,000 and shall also be punished with imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years”.
