Repeal and re-enactment of section 35
Section 35 of the Insurance Act is repealed and the following sections substituted therefor:“Appointment of assistants
35. The Authority may authorise or appoint any person to assist it in the exercise of its functions and duties under this Act, either generally or in any particular case.Exemption35A.—
(1)
The Authority may, subject to such condition as it thinks fit, exempt any person or class of persons from any or all of the provisions of this Act.(2) An exemption granted under this section may be withdrawn by the Authority at any time.”.
