Clause 4

The Pensions Act is amended by renumbering section 8 as subsection (1) of that section, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following subsection:“(2) Where in the exercise of its powers of disciplinary control over public officers the Public Service Commission has ordered an officer to be retired in the public interest, the officer’s service shall be deemed to have been terminated under subsection (1).”.
