Clause 40

by deleting the words “such goods:” in the seventh line and substituting the following words: “such goods except that the Authority shall not be liable —

for any such loss or destruction of or damage to any goods other than goods referred to in paragraph (b) in the sum of more than $2,000 per package or unit of such goods;

for loss or destruction of or damage to any goods contained in any container in the sum of more than —

$5,000 in the case of a container of up to 20 feet in length or $10,000 in the case of a container exceeding 20 feet in length; or

the actual cost of repair or replacement of such container and the goods packed in such container,whichever is the less.”; and

by deleting the proviso.
