Amendment of Second Schedule
The Second Schedule to the principal Act is amended —
by deleting paragraphs 3 and 4 and substituting the following paragraphs:“3. To provide port services and facilities within the limits of the port and the approaches thereto.
4. To issue licence, with or without conditions, to such person as the Authority thinks fit to provide any port service and facility within the port.”;
by inserting, immediately after the word “kind” in paragraph 7, the words “and to provide guarantees, indemnities and securities”; and
by inserting, immediately after paragraph 18, the following paragraphs:“19. To regulate and control operations to clean up oil spill within the territorial waters of Singapore.
20. To, with the approval of the Minister, form or participate in the formation of a company.”.
