Offences in relation to removal of organ
(1)
No person shall remove any organ from the body of a deceased person for the purpose referred to in section 5(1) except in pursuance of the authority given under Part II.
(2)
Any person who contravenes or fails to comply with subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.
