Clause 2

The Enlistment Act is amended by renumbering section 14 as subsection (1) of that section, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following subsection:“(2) Nothing in subsection (1) shall preclude any person who is liable for reserve service from serving for a period or periods longer than the period or periods specified in subsection (1)(a) or (b) if authorised by the proper authority.”.
