Amendment of section 2

Section 2 of the Central Provident Fund Act (referred to in this Act as the principal Act) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after the definition of “flat”, the following definition:“ “immovable property” includes —

(a)

any estate or interest in land comprising a building or flat which is erected or to be erected on the land;

(b)

any undivided share in any estate or interest in land comprising several flats erected or to be erected thereon;”; and

(b)

by deleting the definition of “residential property”.
