Publication

(1)

For the purposes of the application of section 23(5) in determining whether a publication that took place before the commencement of this Act was the first publication, the reference in that section to a period of not more than 30 days shall be read as a reference to a period of not more than 14 days.

(2)

For the purposes of the application of section 23(7) in relation to an act done before the commencement of this Act —

(a)

a reference in that section to copyright shall include a reference to copyright under the Copyright Act 1911; and

(b)

a reference in that section to the licence of the owner of copyright shall be read as a reference to the consent or acquiescence of the owner.
