Amendment of section 165
Section 165(2) of the Companies Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “24 hours” wherever they appear in paragraphs (a) and (b) and substituting in each case the words “two days”;
(b)
by deleting sub-paragraph (a)(i); and
(c)
by deleting paragraph (c) and substituting the following paragraph:“(c)in the case of a notice under subsection (1)(d) within two days after the date on which the director becomes a director.”.
