Clause 43
Application of sections 36 to 42
(1)
The amendments made by sections 36 to 42 of this Act do not apply in relation to a company to, or in respect of, the financial year of the company that began on or before the date of commencement of the Companies (Amendment) Act 1986 and ends after that date.
(2)
To the extent to which by virtue of subsection (1) amendments made by sections 36 to 42 of this Act do not apply in relation to a company, Divisions 1 and 2 of Part VI and the Ninth Schedule so apply as if the amendments had not been enacted.
