Amendment of section 244
Section 244(1) of the Companies Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the dash after the word “believe” in the fifth line;
(b)
by deleting paragraphs (a) and (b); and
(c)
by deleting the words “to give him any information which he has or can reasonably be expected to obtain” in the eleventh and twelfth lines, and substituting the words “to have or to be able to obtain any information”.
