Clause 3

Amendment of section 4

Section 4 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “and” at the end of paragraph (a), and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:“(b)to approve and regulate the operation of the Mass Rapid Transit System by any licensee having regard to the reasonable requirements of the public transport system of Singapore; and”; and

(b)

by re-lettering the existing paragraph (b) as paragraph (c).
