Amendment of section 5
Section 5 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the word “and” at the end of paragraph (f) of subsection (2);
(b)
by deleting paragraph (g) and substituting the following paragraphs:“(g)issue licences, with or without conditions, to such company or companies as the Corporation thinks fit to operate the Mass Rapid Transit System; and
(h)
with the approval of the Minister, form or participate in the formation of a company or companies under the provisions of any written law in force relating to companies.”;
(c)
by deleting subsection (3); and
(d)
by renumbering subsection (4) as subsection (3).
