Clause 13

Section 40 of the principal Act is amended by inserting, immediately after subsection (2), the following subsections:“(2A) In respect of any group representation constituency, every ballot paper shall contain a list of the candidates in each group in English, described, subject to section 105, in their respective nomination papers and the symbol allotted to each group, and arranged alphabetically in English in the order specified in section 37(1A). Every ballot paper shall be in the Form 12 in the First Schedule and shall be capable of being folded.(2B) Subsection (2) shall not apply to any election in any group representation constituency.”.
