Amendment of section 42

Section 42 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after subsection (1), the following subsection:“(1A) Each voter entitled to vote in any group representation constituency shall have one vote and may vote for any one group of candidates in the manner prescribed by this section.”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the word “candidate” at the end of subsection (4), the words “or group of candidates”.
