Clause 9

It is hereby declared that, for the purposes of Article 21 in the First and Second Schedules, the provisions of the Contributory Negligence and Personal Injuries Act (Cap. 54) are provisions of the law of Singapore under which a court may exonerate the carrier wholly or partly from his liability.
