Amendment of section 43

Section 43 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after subsection (1), the following subsection:“(1A) A person shall not be qualified for appointment as an auditor under subsection (1) unless he is an approved company auditor under the Companies Act [Cap. 50].”; and

(b)

by deleting “$500” in the ninth line of subsection (4) and substituting “$1000”.
