Amendment of section 97
Section 97 of the Companies Act is amended by deleting subsection (8) and substituting the following subsection:“(8) In subsection (6) or (7), “prescribed corporation” means —
(a)
a banking corporation; or
(b)
a corporation or class of corporation which has been declared by the Minister by notification in the Gazette to be a prescribed corporation for the purposes of this section.”.
