Amendment of section 29

Section 29 of the principal Act is amended by inserting, immediately after subsection (3), the following subsection:“(3A) Subject to the approval of the Minister, the Board may delegate to —

(a)

any Town Council established under section 4 of the Town Councils Act [Cap. 329A];

(b)

any member of the Town Council;

(c)

any member of any committee of the Town Council appointed under section 31 of that Act; or

(d)

any employee or agent of the Town Council,one or more of the Board’s powers under any rules made under section 27, subject to such conditions or restrictions as the Board may specify; and any power so delegated may be exercised by such Town Council, member, employee or agent in the name and on behalf of the Board.”.
