Amendment of section 71

Section 71 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after subsection (4), the following subsection:“(4A) A person shall not be qualified for appointment as an auditor under subsection (4) unless he is an approved company auditor under the Companies Act [Cap. 50].”; and

(b)

by deleting the words “through the Board” in subsection (8).
