New section 110A

The Environmental Public Health Act is amended by inserting, immediately after section 110, the following section:“Authorised members, employees or agents of Town Councils to exercise certain powers of the Commissioner110A. The Commissioner may, with the approval of the Minister, in writing in that behalf authorise —

(a)

any member of a Town Council established under the Town Councils Act [Cap. 329A];

(b)

any member of any committee of a Town Council; or

(c)

any employee or agent of a Town Council,to exercise all or any of the powers of the Commissioner under this Act or any regulations made thereunder subject to such conditions or limitations as the Commissioner may specify.”.
