New section 22A
The Census Act is amended by inserting, immediately after section 22, the following section:“Amendment of Schedules22A.—
(1)
Subject to subsection (2), the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, amend the First or Second Schedule.(2) The Minister shall not insert or delete and substitute any written law in the First Schedule without the approval of the Minister responsible for the competent authority administering that written law.”.
