Clause 9
Licences
(1)
An application for a licence or a renewal thereof shall be made to the Director in an approved form and shall be accompanied by the prescribed fee.
(2)
An applicant for a licence shall furnish such information as the Director may in any case require.
(3)
The Director may in his discretion —
grant or renew a licence subject to such conditions, limitations and exceptions as may be specified by the Director;
during the currency of a licence, revoke or vary any condition, limitation and exception attached to the licence, or attach new conditions, limitations and exceptions to the licence;
refuse any application for a licence; and
suspend a licence for such period as he may determine, or cancel a licence.
(4)
A licence shall, subject to subsection (3)(d), remain in force for a period of two years, or such lesser period as may be determined by the Director, from the date of its issue and may from time to time be renewed within the prescribed time for a period not exceeding two years.
