Amendment of section 34
Section 34 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the word “and” at the end of paragraph (n); and
(b)
by deleting the full-stop at the end of paragraph (o) and substituting a semi-colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraphs:“(p)to prohibit the registration under this Act of used vehicles beyond a prescribed age-limit; and
(q)
to prescribe a levy for the re-registration of a used vehicle in the name of the purchaser of the vehicle.”.
