Clause 24

Section 129(1) of the principal Act is amended by deleting paragraph (a) and substituting the following paragraph:“(a)in relation to an application made under this Act or the rules for the registration of a vehicle, the grant of any permit or licence to himself or any other person, or for the purpose of preventing the grant or variation of any licence or of procuring the imposition of any condition or limitation in relation to a licence, makes any statement or declaration which is false or in any material respect misleading;”.
