Repeal and re-enactment of section 33
Section 33 of the principal Act is repealed and the following section substituted therefor:“Investment of funds
33. The Board may from time to time invest any of its funds not immediately required to be expended in the meeting of the obligations or in the discharge of the functions of the Board —
(a)
in any of the securities in which trust funds may, under any written law for the time being in force relating to trustees, be invested except that the Minister may require the Board to invest in any such securities as he may direct; or
(b)
with the approval of the Minister, in such other securities as the Board thinks fit.”.
