Amendment of section 2

Section 2 of the Wills Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately before the definition of “will”, the following definition:“ “internal law”, in relation to any territory or state, means the law which would apply in a case where no question of the law in force in any other territory or state arose;”; and

(b)

by deleting the full-stop at the end of the definition of “personal estate” and substituting a semicolon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following definition:“ “state” means a territory or group of territories having its own law of nationality.”.
