Appeal Tribunal

(1)

For the purposes of section 12, there shall be established an Appeal Tribunal, which shall consist of a Chairman, who shall be a person qualified to be appointed as a Judge of the Supreme Court and two other persons, all of whom shall be appointed by the Minister for a term of not less than one year and not more than 3 years.

(2)

Those persons who, on the date immediately before the commencement of this Act, were holding the appointments of Chairman or member of the Appeal Tribunal established under the repealed Rubber Industry Act [Cap. 280] shall be deemed to have been appointed as Chairman or member, as the case may be, of the Appeal Tribunal under subsection (1).

The Appeal Tribunal may make rules governing the fees payable to the Board and the procedure to be followed on appeals under section 12.
