Clause 157
Protection of bona fide purchasers and Registrar
(1)
Notwithstanding anything in this Act, no purchaser who has become a proprietor shall be subject to action for the recovery of land or of money on the plea that his vendor, or any predecessor in title, may have acted in bad faith.
(2)
Neither the Registrar nor any person acting under his authority shall be personally liable in respect of any action, suit or proceeding in respect of any act or matter in good faith done or omitted to be done in the administration of this Act.
