Clause 3

The principal Act is amended by inserting, immediately after section 47D, the following section:“Penalties for offences under sections 47(5) and 47C(5)47E. Any person who is guilty of an offence under section 47(5) or 47C (5) shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both and, in the case of a second or subsequent conviction, to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years or to both.”.
