Clause 79

Where an order has been made by a Juvenile Court under any of the provisions of this Act committing a child or young person to the care of a fit person, or sending the child or young person to a place of safety, place of detention, an approved school or approved home, it shall be the duty of a parent or guardian or other person having the custody of the child or young person to make contributions in respect of the maintenance of the child or young person.
