Clause 81
Minister may establish Young Offenders Sections
(1)
The Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, order that a section of any prison shall be used for the reception and rehabilitation of persons sent there under the provisions of this Act.
(2)
Any such section of any prison shall be known as a Young Offenders Section and shall be under the management and control of the Director of Prisons.
(3)
The Director of Prisons may, with the approval of the Minister, make regulations for the regulation and management of Young Offenders Sections.
