Amendment of section 26

Section 26 of the Banking Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “and the Chief Statistician” in the first and second lines of subsection (2);

(b)

by deleting the words “, the Authority and the Chief Statistician” in subsection (5) and substituting the words “and the Authority”;

(c)

by deleting the words “the Chief Statistician or” in subsection (6); and

(d)

by deleting the words “or the Chief Statistician” in the second and third lines of subsection (7).
