New section 18A
The Immigration Act is amended by inserting, immediately after section 18, the following section:“Train arriving in or leaving Singapore18A.—
(1)
The master of every train which arrives in or leaves Singapore shall stop his train at, or drive his train away from, an authorised train checkpoint.(2) The master of any train who, without reasonable cause, contravenes or fails to comply with subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence.”.
