Clause 25
Prohibition of export, etc., of public records
(1)
No person shall —
(a)
without the written permission of the Board, take or send out of Singapore any public records;
(b)
write on, mark, inscribe or otherwise deface any public records; or
(c)
mutilate, excise or otherwise damage any public records.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.
