Repeal, transitional and consequential provisions
(1)
The Bankruptcy Act [Cap. 20] is repealed.
(2)
In any written law or document in which a reference is made to the Bankruptcy Act repealed by this Act, such reference shall be read as a reference to the Bankruptcy Act 1994.
(3)
The transitional provisions and savings set out in the First Schedule shall have effect.
(4)
The provisions of the Acts specified in the first column of the Second Schedule are amended in the manner set out in the second column thereof.
