Power to compound
(1)
The Commissioner may, in his discretion, compound any offence under this Act or any regulations made thereunder which is prescribed as an offence which may be compounded by collecting from a person reasonably suspected of having committed the offence a sum not exceeding $500.
(2)
The Minister may prescribe the offences which may be compounded.
