Clause 47

Broadcasting company owned by foreign source

No company shall, unless the Authority otherwise approves, be granted or hold a relevant licence if the Authority is satisfied that 49% or more of its issued and paid-up capital is owned by or on behalf of any foreign source or that all or a majority of the persons having the direction, control or management of the company are appointed by or on behalf of the government of a country outside Singapore or the agent of any such government.
