Clause 2

Section 2 of the Smoking (Prohibition in Certain Places) Act (referred to in this Act as the principal Act) is amended by inserting, immediately after the definition of “public service vehicle”, the following definition:“ “residential premises or building” means any premises or building which is permitted to be used pursuant to the Planning Act [Cap. 232] or any other written law as a dwelling-house or which is lawfully so used;”.
