Clause 33

Section 85(1) of the Factories Act is amended by deleting paragraph (i) and substituting the following paragraphs:“(i)to take samples of any material or substance found in a factory or being discharged from the factory for the purpose of analysis or test, and to assess the levels of noise, illumination, heat or harmful or hazardous substances in the workplace and the exposure levels of workers;

(ia)to require any hospital to provide any information of any person who is injured in an accident and is receiving treatment thereat;”.
